La Vida believes that family involvement is critical in closing the educational achievement gap. Our family focus distinguishes our programming from many other student-centered, academic enrichment and college access organizations. The young people gain the academic skills they need to finish high school and qualify for college admission. Scholars begin to gain experience with the college application process through applying to participate in the La Vida Scholars (LVS) program.
